Welcome dude, as others have said, as long as you aren't good ol' ronnie, we're cool. Don't worry about being "forgiven" for playing on other servers, it's not illegal to play somewhere other than ankeborg every month or two : D. I go to other servers all the time, basically just when I feel like haxing it up somewhere.
